Angie or Diane have probably been at CrossFit boxes, and you may have seen them in a workout. But what's Marguerita? How can you make it through the "Girl WOD?" Keep reading to learn more. Here's a CrossFit review. I'll be giving you the lowdown about this "Girl OD."

Angie

The "Angie" workout is an absolute benchmark for CrossFit. By performing a benchmark, a person can gauge their progress from their last performance. Angie improvement is generally a sign that a person is more fit and more athletic than before they started. This workout is a great way to track muscular endurance and strength increases. It takes about 30 minutes. Preparation for the workout requires a pull up bar and space for a pushup.

Diane

Diane is the benchmark workout. It combines heavy deadlifts with handstand pushups. This is a more technical movement in gymnastics. This workout will test your upper and lower bodies, core strength, and overall fitness. The maximum weight for deadlifts for men is 220 pounds and for women it's 155. These movements must be completed for time. Diane was introduced September 2003.

Marguerita

This is a strange workout. You will need to do 50 rounds of five movements, with one rep per movement. There are 250 transitions between each movement. Although there are no specific rules, many CrossFit athletes swear by this workout. Marguerita, which means "Mary", is a Spanish translation of Marguerita. This has been taken to heart by the CrossFit community.


Diane is a "Girl Workout"

The Girls' name is probably familiar, but are you aware of their identity? These workouts have been named after CrossFit female athletes. They are meant to push the limits. Here's a closer look at each one. CrossFit is a great way to get started if you're just starting CrossFit. You can scale Angie's reps and decrease the deadlift weight on Diane.
